Terms of Service
Last updated 7 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Weego (the “Service”), a collaborative travel-planning and journaling application available at goweego.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
Weego lets you plan trips, build itineraries, journal your travels, upload photos, collaborate with others you invite, and use AI-assisted planning features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Please notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Provide accurate information when registering, and keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- disrupt or overload the Service, or circumvent rate limits or security measures;
- misuse the AI features to generate harmful, abusive, or infringing material.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (trips, journals, notes, and photos). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the people you choose to share it with. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.
5. AI features
The Service includes AI-assisted suggestions (for example, activity and destination ideas). AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for your convenience only. Verify important details — such as opening hours, prices, visa requirements, and travel conditions — before relying on them.
6. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, maps and place data) and may link to third-party websites or, in the future, affiliate booking partners. Where a provider processes your personal data on our behalf, it is listed in our Privacy Policy and Subprocessors list. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites or partners you reach through the Service; their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of them.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI suggestions will be accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, ask you to review and accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Questions about these Terms? Email [email protected].
